Bailey, Colorado Airbnb Elopement | Leigha and Trevor

Leigha and Trevor decided to do just that! They found a large Airbnb in Bailey, Colorado where they housed all their guests and even their sweet dog, Otis, for a few days for their elopement!

They started out the day in their respective areas of the house getting ready. The girls got hair and make up done in the master bedroom while enjoying cocktails and the boys hung out downstairs playing ping pong and watching TV. As we got closer to the ceremony, the boys got their suits on while Leigha’s mom helped her into her dress. They even had a little bowtie to put on Otis so he could be a part of the getting ready festivities! 

Their Airbnb’s large balcony provided a gorgeous mountain view that was the perfect backdrop for Leigha and Trevor’s first look and their ceremony! After they exchanged vows, we did some family photos followed by Leigha and Trevor’s first dance! They had a reception dinner catered to the house for themselves and their guests at a beautifully decorated, candle-lit table! During dinner, I snuck out with Leigha and Trevor at sunset for some additional couples’ portraits and then we ended the night with cake and lemon bars for dessert!

“We chose the location for a couple of reasons. We wanted to do it at an Airbnb in Colorado so that we could get ready at our venue, have our dog, Otis, as part of our big day, and of course for the view of the mountains! The large deck on the house allowed us to have space for our ceremony with our family in attendance and it also served as a great location for many of our pictures. The location, Bailey, was about 45 minutes outside of Denver, which was perfect in order to still have hair and makeup and catering services.

Having the entire day at the Airbnb was great for many reasons. First, it took the stress away of needing to travel to a different location for the ceremony after getting ready. Second, our family was able to be a part of our entire wedding day. Finally, Otis was able to be with us all day! Having our pup be there the entire day was very important to us, as he was part of the entire wedding day as well. Being at the Airbnb all day also gave us privacy and kept the event intimate!“
